MEET OLIVIA STEINBERG
Olivia Steinberg is a Canine Strength and Conditioning Coach and avid Dog Sport enthusiast who is passionate about sharing the benefits of K9 Fitness with those seeking to increase the longevity and performance of their dog within their respective sport.
Olivia comes to K9 Fitness with over a decade worth of experience in the field of human health and wellness with a background deeply rooted in the study of Biology, Somatic Psychology, Kinesiology, and Eastern/Western healing modalities; her knowledge and experience are vast in matters of using movement as catalyst for wellbeing for both human and canine alike.
Olivia studied Canine Strength and Conditioning at North Carolina State School of Veterinary Medicine and became interested in the field of study as a way to increase the fitness level of her personal sport dog in preparation for the demands of training and trialing.
As an individual training in Protection Sports (PSA) Olivia strongly believes that K9 Fitness is complimentative to and a necessary for training at high levels. K9 fitness is an avenue in which handlers can create clear pathways of communication and build on foundational obedience behaviors in a way that develops precision, builds performance, and increases the likelihood of health and longevity. Olivia enjoys the element of fun fitness brings to her training program.
When Olivia is not coaching clients she can most likely be found training her personal dogs Walter and Ember, enjoying a latte, reading, gardening, or studying Spanish.
