To be honest I woke up yesterday and very little felt different in a "new-yearsy" sort of way.
I didn't feel like yesterday was the end and start of something new...just a beautiful continuation of all the many things that have been seeded, grown, and harvested in the months past. I've been spending the last few days mindfully reflecting on the ground I've covered, the love I've shared, the goals I've accomplished, the heartache I've felt, the trauma I've experienced, and the knowledge I've gain. I am humbled, grateful, amazed, and F*cking proud of ME.
I am open. I am expansive. I am enough. I am love. {you are too}
I am here to share healing with the world.
The subtle energies of the season are perfect for taking the time to re-align with your purpose, intentions, and visions for the months to come. In the weeks ahead we'll surely hear a lot about resolutions, intentions, goals, actions, and habits. How do they all work? Aren't they all the same thing? Which one is right for me?
I urge to consider this:
Resolve to be nothing but unapologetically yourself.
Breathe life into your intentions by putting pen to paper and stating your intentions in the present tense using "I am" statements. There are zero limits here. Only the limits you create within your mind. Live as though your dreams and intentions are happening in the here and now. Play "as if."
Allow your intentions to guide your goals. List them. {like for real on paper}
Each goal requires one or more action steps. List them.
Habits...they're are the foundation of everything! Each action requires a habit. A consistent daily practice. Doesn't have to be perfect just consistent. Habits aren't super sexy but they are GOLD and the secret to having your goals in the bag. Habits allow you to level-up your life in a way that is sustainable. Habits are where we focus our energy.
Let me break it down with a little example:
Your Intention: To manifest abundance. "Abundance flows to me freely."
Your Goal: To earn your company's annual rewards trip to Hawaii all expenses paid.
Your Action: To meet your weekly sales quota earning you a spot of the trip.
Your Habit required to accomplish this action: Going to bed by 10pm (no excuses.) Which guarantees you 7hrs. sleep. Allowing you to get up early enough to workout and settle into your day with a clear mind and sustained energy all day. Because you are well rested you can show up for yourself, your clients, and your family.
